Windsor Windows & Doors recently donated windows to a very important cause. Operation Finally Home provides quality homes for veterans and their families at no cost. Windsor is proud to have contributed to the organization's first-ever Iowa Build.
Operation Finally Home will provide a permanent, mortgage-free home for wounded Iowa veteran U.S. Army Specialist Nathan Mason, his wife and 2 children. All materials and labor were also donated free of charge, making the home truly a gift for this very deserving family.
Mason and his wife were surprised by the news of their new home at a very emotional announcement during the Iowa State Fair. Groundbreaking for the Masons' house took place in November 2013.
Mason earned a Purple Heart from his service in Afghanistan, where he received leg and head injuries during Operation Enduring Freedom in January 2007.
