A few years ago, Windsor implemented an internal initiative designed to inspire and empower our employees. We determined four primary characteristics that make our employees successful and that elevate our company. These qualities are self-motivation, consistency, dedication, and engagement. We designate employees who demonstrate these traits as “Difference Makers.” Each month in each of our three production facilities, the managers select an employee as a “Difference Maker.” We are proud to recognize these special employees who exemplify the strong work ethic and personal integrity and who make Windsor extraordinary.

Congratulations to July Tial, Vinyl Paint, for being selected as the April 2021 Difference Maker. July is a member of the Vinyl Paint Team and is engaged with her work and willing to put the hours in to meet the needs of the department and company. She is dedicated to the work and consistent in her role. July is motivated and ready to complete any task before her. She has the qualities of a Difference Maker: consistent; motivated; engaged; and dedicated.
Congratulations to Dustin Counts, Human Resources, for being selected as the April 2021 Difference Maker. Dustin brings excellent customer service to the HR Team. He is engaged every day with meeting the needs of the employees and completing work as scheduled. Dustin is consistent within his role. He is motivated and dedicated to the goals of the HR Department as well as Windsor Windows & Doors. Dustin has a positive attitude and is well respected by all employees.
Vivian Deese was designated the Monroe, North Carolina Difference Maker for April 2021. Vivian has been a long-term Windsor employee, working in the Double Hung Sash Department for 19 years. She is one of those special people who will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Vivian always steps up and keeps the production line moving. All of us appreciate her loyalty to our company and dedication to our goals.
Congratulations to Dan Quaintance who works in our Metal Department in West Des Moines. Dan is a long-term employee who comes to work and wants to be productive every second that he is on the clock. He is engaged and has a great understanding of the entire manufacturing process. Dan is motivated and not afraid of jumping in and helping whenever he is needed. The metal department has recently overcome many challenges and Dan has been a significant factor in finding better solutions. He is known for his reliability and his dedication to the goals of the department and the company.
We want to acknowledge Edgar Alfaro, from our Vinyl Specials Department, for being selected as the May 2021 Difference Maker at our Norwalk facility. During the challenges of the past year, Edgar has really elevated his performance. He is highly motivated and consistently asks for more responsibility. Edgar has a great deal of product knowledge which makes him useful in several different departments throughout the facility, so he makes a difference throughout our plant. Edgar is dedicated to the daily goals and the success of Windsor. He is an employee who we can always count on and who comes to work to make a difference. Congratulations on being chosen as a Difference Maker, Edgar. You certainly deserve this recognition!
Kevin Danilson, from our West Des Moines Inside Sales Department, was selected as the May 2021 Difference Maker at our Iowa plant. Kevin is a long-term, dedicated employee with extensive product knowledge. He is engaged each day and is known for accuracy and attention to detail. Kevin demonstrates a sense of urgency to support the production lines as well as the customer’s needs. Kevin works extensively with many other departments throughout the company and he always has the customer’s best interest in mind, as well as supporting the goals of the company. Kevin comes to work each day to make a difference… and he does! Congratulations, Kevin, on being chosen as May 2021 Difference Maker.
In May, Jason Moore was designated in Monroe as the Difference Maker. Jason was selected for his dedication and willingness to take on any challenge. Jason has recently moved into the position of Manager in Training in the Metal Department, and he is known throughout the company for his reliability and being a “Jack of all trades.” Jason has many interests outside of work as well. He enjoys going to the baseball field with his children and taste-testing different varieties of craft beer. Congratulations Jason!

Mickey Egkhounmuong works in the Quality Department at ourNorwalk, IA facility. Mickey is a long-term employee who possesses a tremendous amount of knowledge about the production process for all our lines. She is engaged with the work she does and dedicated to the business goals. Mickey is willing to help the operators and teach them the specifications, which helps to constantly improve the quality of our products. Mickey is consistent and motivated and is always willing to assist others in their roles. She is well respected throughout the company and her co-workers say she is a pleasure to work with.
Congratulations to David Sheesley who works in the Warehouse Department in our West Des Moines facility. David is known as being reliable and consistent in his work. He is engaged each day and communicates well with others. David is motivated and dedicated to Windsor’s goal of being ETDBW. David always keeps his word and does what he says he’s going to do! He helps coordinate the warehouse and communicates with others what has been completed. David makes a difference at Windsor.
Htun Aung, from our Next Dimension Classic production line, was selected as the June 2021 Difference Maker at our Norwalk facility. Htun works on our second shift in this department and is recognized by his peers for being engaged and dedicated to Windsor’s overall success. He is known for his dedication and despite lots of overtime, he never complains about the long hours. Htun is reliable and has the knowledge and experience to move from one area to another during our second shift, making him a wonderful asset. His personal motivation has made a huge impact to the success of second shift production. This level of dedication has earned Htun the title of being a Difference Maker.
Lottie Parker has been a dedicated employee in our Parts Department at our North Carolina plant for the past seven years. Her managers say “Lottie is someone we can always depend on.” Lottie enjoys spending her free time with her two sons and friends, and enjoys relaxing. We salute Lottie for her dedication to our company and appreciate the difference that she makes!
Windsor appreciates the perseverance of employees who go above and beyond the call of duty every day. It is these people who inspire us all to do better, and that makes us proud to be a part of something greater!
