Each month, this internal initiative celebrates those outstanding individuals who make a difference in our company through self-motivation, consistency, dedication and engagement in the work they do every day. The managers from each of our three production facilities will select employees who demonstrate these qualities as “Difference Makers.” We are proud to recognize these special employees who exemplify the strong work ethic and personal integrity, and who make Windsor extraordinary.
The September Difference Maker from our North Carolina plant was Natalie de la Paz. Natalie has worked for Windsor for nine months but has made a big impact in that short time. She comes to work each day with a positive attitude and goes above and beyond what is expected of her in her daily duties. Her manager describes her as being wonderful to work with and ready to dive in to meet the goals of her department. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Way to go, Natalie!
Congratulations to Hoa Doa for being our September Difference Maker in our Norwalk facility. Hoa works with the ND Pro team and has been making a difference in that department since October 2015. She gets along well with her peers and readily assists wherever needed. Hoa performs consistent workmanship and is engaged with every task she performs. She makes it a priority to stay current with the production schedule so that the department operates as efficiently as possible. Great job, Hoa, and keep up the great work.
Shane Burns was our September Difference Maker from our West Des Moines plant. Shane is a member of our maintenance team and works diligently to make sure our Lisec glass line is running as smoothly and consistently as possible. He performs every task to the best of his ability and is dedicated to making sure Windsor’s equipment works properly and efficiently. Shane takes great pride in his work and is willing to put in extra hours to ensure product is built correctly and on time. He has a positive attitude and has earned the respect of his coworkers. Congratulations, Shane.
The October recipient of the Difference Maker award from the North Carolina plant was Rosalva Capote. Rosalva has worked for Windsor for over two years and works in the double hung sash area. She takes initiative by finding tasks to do on her own without having to be asked to do them. She always has a smile on her face and is a true asset to Windsor. In her spare time, she likes to cook and spend time with her daughter. Congratulations, Rosalva, on being recognized as a Difference Maker.
The October Difference Maker from the vinyl plant was Karla Coreas. Karla has worked for Windsor since 2018 and is a valued member of the vinyl paint team. She is a versatile employee who is willing to lend a hand on the Lisec line at a moment’s notice. Her attention to detail makes her great at her job and an integral part of her department. She comes to work each day with a positive attitude and her team members appreciate all the hard work she puts in each day for Windsor. Thank you, Karla, for dedication and commitment to making Windsor great.
Jarahl Arnold was elected our October Difference Maker in our West Des Moines location. Jarahl has worked on the Powder Coat team since 2016 and has been an inspiration to those around him by demonstrating all of the characteristics necessary of a Difference Maker; consistency, motivation, engagement and dedication. Jarahl also has a great work ethic that is evident by his willingness to help others and the training he provides to those on his team. Congratulations, Jarahl, on being selected as October’s Difference Maker.
Shelia Allison was the November Difference Maker award winner from our North Carolina plant. Shelia has been with Windsor for 22 years and is an asset to the Human Resources department. She works tirelessly bringing in new hires to the company and works on special projects such as Make a Difference Week and Open Enrollment. She is an advocate for Windsor employees and works hard to make sure they are well cared for. Shelia enjoys spending time with her family, serving her community, and helping to plan her daughter’s upcoming wedding.
The West Des Moines Difference Maker for the month of November was Kelly Bowen. Kelley joined Windsor in February 2022 with extensive Human Resources experience. She is a very motivated employee who is always ready to help anyone that may need assistance. In November our HR department was busy with Benefits Open Enrollment. This large project was successfully completed with the help of Kelley’s dedication and strong organizational skills. Thank you, Kelley, for all that you do for Windsor and our employees!
The November Difference Maker from the Norwalk facility was Thi Quynh Giao Tran. Thi has worked in the ND Pro department as a corner cleaner since June 2022 and is well-liked by all employees on her team. She performs consistent work and is dedicated to her daily duties, which can be very demanding as they require great attention to detail and precision. She strives to reach the goals of her department and maintains a positive attitude, qualities that are essential when faced with equipment issues and the daily demands of her department.
