Our Employees Make the Difference

Each month, we celebrate outstanding individuals who make a difference in our company by demonstrating self-motivation, consistency, dedication and engagement in our workplace. The managers from each of our three production facilities select employees who exhibit these qualities. We designate these hardworking employees as “Difference Makers.”

Congratulations to Kelley Bowen for being named as Windsor’s West Des Moines “Difference Maker” for the month of October. Fall is a very busy season for HR because it’s Open Enrollment time. Kelley is at peak performance during this activity. During Open Enrollment, HR needs to verify that employees are accurately enrolled in the current year as well properly registered for the upcoming year. Kelley has great attention to detail, and she maintains immaculate records on all the Iowa employees. Kelley is a huge asset to the HR Team throughout the year. She confirms payroll, mentors others, and covers countless details that make an important difference to our employees. We are very grateful for Kelly’s dedication.

Mirna Ramirez was named the October Difference Maker at our Monroe, North Carolina Plant. Mirna works on our paint line and she is one of those people who always has a smile on her face. She has an upbeat attitude and keeps the mood light, even under times of stress. Every time we need to get something done, Mirna is the first to step in and get it done. She keeps a close eye on product quality and is always eager to learn more about the products and our processes. She has become well known for producing quality work and we appreciate her high standards. She works well with others throughout the company and has a positive attitude. Mirna has been with us for 4 years and she has demonstrated that she is a tremendous asset.

Orlando O’Farrill Rivera was named Windsor’s West Des Moines “Difference Maker” for November. Orlando has been serving as a “floater” and has excelled in every area he has been assigned. He consistently maintains a positive attitude and is always willing to assist wherever needed. During the week of Thanksgiving, Orlando’s performance was particularly noticed. Despite the absence of several key team members, Orlando ensured others that operations would continue to run smoothly. He played a crucial role in helping the set-up team and he not only met the goals that were set… he exceeded them! Congratulations to Orlando, for helping us succeed and truly making a difference.

Shelia Allison was named the Monroe, North Carolina plant’s Difference Maker in the month of November. Shelia has worked at the Monroe plant for 23 years. She initially served as an assistant to the sales team and eventually moved into HR. Shelia is well known for her strong work ethic. Her role requires a high level of detail, and she goes above and beyond in everything she does. We are fortunate to have an outstanding HR group that cares about each employee. When it comes to planning a holiday event or party, Shelia always knocks it out of the park. We are grateful that we have Shelia working to make Windsor a better company.
