“Happiness doesn’t have just one address” is an anonymous quote. For the last 32 years, happiness has been at 2210 Stafford Street for the Windsor Monroe plant. During that time, many co-workers have come and gone; however, for eight employees it has been home where they each made lifelong friends, gained a second family, and navigated celebrations of life’s biggest challenges, changes, new life and even sometimes end of life.
The picture above shows the 25-year mark with former Windsor Windows & Doors President, John Smit, in 2017. On the last day Windsor occupied the Stafford Street location, we brought the eight longtime employees together to take pictures of the plant and the famous “Windsor Lion” to commemorate the plant’s history. We are celebrating a new home at Windsor Monroe with hopes of another generation of employees making a lifetime of memories.
