This home in Montgomery County, Maryland, is a model of contemporary design. It features 11,000+ square feet of living space with expansive and inventive window and door combinations. Included with this stylish property is a personal ice hockey rink on the foundation level of the home.
When designing the project, the architect was looking to create a home with clean, distinct lines, as well as inviting window and door configurations. Windsor helped bring the design to life, thanks to its contemporary product options. According to the team at Studio Twenty Seven Architecture, “Windsor Windows & Doors were chosen for this project because they met the client’s desire for large windows and doors with thin sightlines, offering an abundance of natural light.”
The builders turned to Windsor distributor The Sanders Company to help find the perfect contemporary solutions to complement the design. The home features a combination of 110 Pinnacle clad casement, awning, rectangular direct set and corner windows, as well as 15 in-swing and out-swing patio doors.
According the Bryan Whittington of Dovetail Construction Management, “Windsor was one of the only window companies that could offer my client the thin sightlines they aspired for. The combination of Windsor Windows & Doors and The Sanders Company’s Sales & Installation Team proved to be a valuable asset on this project due to the size and quantity of the window and door openings.”
