Project Description
The Marquis on Maple is a luxury condominium project in downtown Downers Grove, Illinois offering 55 residential units. The Marquis is an address which offers an elevated lifestyle of sophistication and comfort. Designed in a “Transitional Style,” The Marquis blends the historical proportions of classical architecture with the clean lines of innovative materials and detailing.
Unique Requirements/Solutions
Windsor’s direct set frames were used on the first level where storefront aluminum normally would have been used. Having the consistent look of the extruded bronze color in this area and matching all of the operable windows was important. The wood interiors allowed this space to have the same warmth as the residential units.
