A top focus for Windsor over the next 6 months will be improving the PowerTools Quote system by increasing ease of use, ensuring stability, offering additional training and enhancing customer support. Windsor has already begun implementing these through new tools and dedicated resources.
We have been working with our vendor to add new functionality to the system that will help with the overall look, feel and usability of the program to make it more user-friendly for the end user. Some of these improvements include built-in training within the program, a new summary view on the line item display screen, an easier to use layout for the question and answer screen and additional information added to the project tree. You will begin to see these improvements towards the end of 2010 and into early 2011.
Throughout the coming months, we will be offering additional webinar training to all users. The goal is to ensure users fully understand the current system and continue training on new functionality as we make improvements in the future. Your company will be contacted by a Windsor representative in the next couple weeks to help determine the best date and time for your users to attend training.
We have put a very large focus on enhancing customer support for the PTQ program. We have assigned a PowerTools expert to the help desk position to handle all customer requests and issues. This also included re-introducing the PowerTools Hotline which will provide customers with quick, reliable support and get them back to a stable system in minimal time.
