WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, January 24, 2017 — Windsor Windows & Doors, a leading brand of residential windows and patio doors, has announced the scheduled move into the new 160,000 square-foot Norwalk, IA facility.

Windsor’s new facility is located on 27 acres of land in Norwalk, in Warren County, just south of Des Moines. This additional property will house the manufacturing of the company’s vinyl window and patio door and will accommodate approximately 100 Windsor employees.

The first phase of the move will begin in mid-February. The equipment for each of the four production line will be moved in four consecutive weeks until the project is completed in mid-March.

Clay Coppock, Windsor’s production manager, is overseeing this transition. “There is a massive team of people coordinating this process. The dismantling, moving, and reassembly of the equipment has been carefully timed and well planned for minimal disruption to the manufacturing process and to our customer’s delivery schedules”.

The new Norwalk, Iowa location is Windsor’s fourth manufacturing facility in the U.S. Windsor currently operates two other manufacturing facilities in West Des Moines, Iowa, and one in Monroe, North Carolina.
