Casement Set-up Coordinator and 24-year Windsor Veteran, Kevin Kessler was the winner of this Employee Home Makeover project. The goal of this project was to make the necessary repairs to Kevin’s basement to improve the air quality for his wife, who due to a heart condition was unable to go into the basement to do laundry and store items.
Windsor volunteers teamed up and began the repairs to the brick walled basement by scraping off the previous paint and foam, and repainted the walls with Kilz to prevent the possibility of mold. The old, inoperable windows were removed and replaced with Next Dimension Pro Awnings to increase ventilation and improve overall air quality. The project was completed in November.
