Sleep In Heavenly Peace is a national organization that builds beds and provides bedding for children who do not have a comfortable place to sleep. The primary sponsor for the organization is Lowes Home Improvement Store. They generously supply wood, building materials and tools to build these beds. The organization’s coordinators for each chapter are located around the country and they find volunteers to provide the labor. On Friday, October 20, twenty Windsor Windows & Doors employees donated their afternoon to build a dozen beds for the Warren County chapter of the organization. The group’s motto is “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town” and we think that’s a great goal to work toward!
