Windsor Windows & Doors continues to make progress on our upcoming system conversion to SAP. Change is an inevitable part of this transition, but we will communicate these modifications in advance of each phase as we navigate the implementation. Detailed below is an overview of changes that will take place. We will relay additional details on each of these topics as they occur over the next 60 to 90 days.
- Power Tools will remain our front-end quoting and ordering system, the product configuration aspect of the tool is not changing. However, the portal side such as order tracking, the Windsor marketing site, document, and resource repository will have a new user interface with improved accessibility and a new appearance.
- All customer locations will be assigned a new account number. The account number will be shown as the client ID in Power Tools just as it was prior to the conversion. The new account numbers along with a cross reference will be provided to all locations by our dedicated support team members.
- Order, shipping, and delivery confirmation documents, delivered to your predetermined single recipient, will have a slightly different look. The email address where these originate from will also change to windsordocuments@woodgrain.com. However, the important information displayed in the documents today will remain the same.
- Part numbers, parts pricing and descriptions will change. These changes will be reflected in Power Tools and in Windsor’s website Parts Section lookup, as well as in all literature and digital material containing this information. A cross reference will be available providing both the legacy part number and the SAP replacement.
- A few business processes, both internal and external, involving our order processing will change with the conversion.
Please look for detailed communications on each of these topics that will be sent closer to the effective dates of change. Windsor appreciates your support as we work to upgrade our system and better serve our valued customers.
