Each month, this internal initiative celebrates those outstanding individuals who make a difference in our company through self-motivation, consistency, dedication and engagement in the work they do every day. The managers from each of our three production facilities will select employees who demonstrate these qualities as “Difference Makers.” We are proud to recognize these special employees who exemplify the strong work ethic and personal integrity, and who make Windsor extraordinary.
Congratulations to Elizabeth Martinez on being elected the March Difference Maker in our Monroe facility. Elizabeth has worked for Windsor for more than eight years and assists in the grille department. She comes to work each day with a positive attitude and goes above and beyond what is expected of her. She takes great pride in her work and is resourceful in finding solutions to any issues that arise. Her excellent communication skills ensure the grille department is successful in achieving their daily goals. In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband and two children.
Tim Small was the April Difference Maker award winner from our Monroe, North Carolina location. Tim is a valued member of the glass department and makes a big impact every day. He is always willing to do whatever is necessary to get the job done, even if that means coming into work on a scheduled day off. He is a dependable and reliable employee who is always available to lend a hand when needed. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Thank you, Tim, for everything you do to make Windsor operate as efficiently as possible.
Kyaw Tha was the April Difference Maker award recipient for our West Des Moines location. Kyaw works the 2nd shift in the direct set department. Although he has only worked in this area for a few months, his dedication and motivation have been apparent to those who work alongside him. He has a great work ethic and knows the importance of manufacturing quality products for our customers. He has a positive attitude and gets along well with those on his team – qualities that help his department run as smoothly as possible. Great work, Kyaw!
The Norwalk winner of the Difference Maker award for April was Zo Liana. Zo assists the vinyl patio door department and is a reliable employee who is well liked by his co-workers. He is always eager and ready to jump in and assist other areas when needed. He is engaged in his daily tasks and works diligently to meet the goals of the team. His dedication to his work makes him a great asset to the company and is greatly appreciated. Congratulations, Zo, on being selected our April Difference Maker.
Our Monroe facility is pleased to recognize Patricio Gordillo as their May recipient. Patricio has worked in our shipping department for more than eight years. He comes to work each day with an optimistic attitude and routinely goes above what is expected of him. His excellent communication skills ensure the shipping department is successful in achieving their daily goals. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing the piano and enjoys attending sporting events. Great job, Patricio. We appreciate your dedication to Windsor!
Congratulations to Clayton Gilchrist, from the Norwalk vinyl paint department. He earned the Difference Maker award for the month of June. Clayton demonstrates the qualities we look for in a Difference Maker, and he has a great attitude, always wears a smile, and is always willing to help others. Clayton is a valued member in Norwalk. He has worked on several different production lines and as a result of that experience, he possesses a vast amount of knowledge. We appreciate Clayton’s dedication to excellence and for maintaining very high standards in his work.
Chinfong Moua, from our West Des Moines patio door facility, was awarded the Difference Maker designation in June. Chinfong has been working at this location for several months. His skillset is very well suited to his position and he has made a major impact on providing consistent results. He is dedicated to producing quality work and is acutely focused on his department’s goals. Chinfong has a very strong work ethic and understands the importance of quality workmanship. We are honored to have Chinfong on the Windsor team.
