The Monroe, North Carolina production facility was just awarded its 7th year in a row Gold Safety Award. The award presentation was held on June 14th at their local Chamber of Commerce Event Center. The award was presented by commissioner Jason Dobson of the North Carolina Department of Labor.
At Windsor, we choose to place safety above all else and it is our top priority to keep employees safe. The award is given to manufacturers achieving a recordable incident rate of 50% below the industry standard. Windsor consistently strives to reduce accidents and eliminate injuries of any kind. As a result, we take great pride in our North Carolina plant receiving this recognition.
Several of our employees attended the 2022 Safety Awards Banquet. Bernard Penoro, Windsor’s manager of health and safety, as well as our safety committee members, department managers and team leads were all recognized for their efforts.
