Mike Crook, a 32-year Windsor sales team veteran, retired at the end of June. Mike’s career in the window business started at Heritage Windows, where he was their Sales Manager before Woodgrain acquired the Monroe, NC operation in September 1992. During his time at Windsor, Mike has held several key sales roles – National Accounts, Southeast Division Sales Manager, and Regional Sales Manager. He was integral in the product launch of our Legend Series in the mid 90s, developing many architectural contacts and selling planned communities that still carry this product specification today. Over his last several years, with his responsibilities focused on coastal South Carolina, Georgia and the North Carolina mountain region, Mike has remained a top sales performer at the company. He was awarded our top sales award in 2022, when he was named Windsor’s “Sales Professional of the Year.”
Dave Rhoten, Windsor’s Eastern Divisional Sales Manager stated, “Mike has that special personality, a combination of charm and charisma, that allows him to make friends and build strong relationships at all levels. Most importantly, his long-term success has been based in offering exceptional customer support. His product knowledge, proactive follow up, and 24/7 commitment to his customers and to Windsor will be greatly missed.”
Mike and his wife, Terry, plan to do some traveling in the coming years, with a big trip to the Western part of the US in the spring of 2025. When at home, Mike looks forward to spending more time with his family and his treasured “grand babies.”
