Scott Renke Announces Retirement

Scott Renke, Windsor’s director of sales, has made the decision to retire at the end of 2024. Scott has been an integral part of our organization for the past 22 years and has been a driving force in Windsor’s success for the past two decades.

Scott began his career in the window and door industry in 1988 by answering a want ad from the San Francisco Chronicle seeking a window and door sales specialist for a company called Building Materials Distributor. He worked with this company from 1988 to 1992, covering the southern portion of the San Francisco metro area and traveling as far south as Monterey, California. In 1992, Scott accepted a position at Caradco Window and Doors, becoming their district sales manager for the state of California. He was then promoted to the western division manager in 1995 and served in that role until 2002. Scott was hired by Windsor Windows & Doors in November 2002 as the western division sales manager. In 2010, he was promoted to the director of sales and relocated to Iowa.

During his retirement, Scott is looking forward to spending more time with grandchildren, Reed, Issac, Joshua, and Kathryn. He will finally be able to travel for pleasure rather than traveling for business and he and his wife, Michele, will enjoy traveling together. Scott also looks forward to perfecting his golf game with his three sons, Chris, Kyle, and Kevin.

Scott is excited to see what the next chapter holds. “My time at Windsor has been very rewarding, not only for what we have accomplished together but because of the close relationships I have forged with our customers and team members.” he says.  “Those friendships will last forever. I have much to be thankful for. I am especially grateful to my longtime friend, Mark Rieser, for hiring me 22 years ago, and to everyone at Windsor for allowing me to help grow the company into one of the premier window and door companies in the US.”
